Whether you love to hate it or hate to love it, Silicon Valley is returning this spring and the teaser is here, this time promising viewers that “this shit is about to get real.”
The trailer finds the team back at Erlich’s house, post TechCrunch Disrupt, getting back to work, guzzling energy drinks, and scarfing down cheese balls. All the usual quirks are still there, like high-maintenance Jared setting down a coaster right before Dinesh puts his drink down on a wooden table.

There’s probably no better timing to premiere the trailer as T.J. Miller, the actor and comedian who plays Erlich in the show, just hosted The Crunchies last night. While his performance and jokes weren’t necessarily met with the greatest approval, he definitely made the valley crowd from last night laugh at just how easy it is to satirize the tech industry.
Seriously though, I agree with Erlich — who would put artisanal butter in the freezer? You can find out when Silicon Valley returns on April 12th to HBO.
