“And sex, it can be hacked.” This sentence introduces CNN’s new web series“Sex, Drugs and Silicon Valley,” in which tech reporter Laurie Segall explores the industry's hedonistic subculture.

The series is broken up into six segments focusing on smart drugs, psychedelics, polyamory, swinging, and, of course, Burning Man. Each video highlights entrepreneurs, engineers, and tech workers who live lifestyles rife with “nootropics” and open relationships. While people everywhere can — and do —live this way, many of the people interviewed by CNN have a particular desire to "disrupt" themselves to be more fulfilled.

If you have only five minutes to spare, watch the segment featuring the Bronze Party, an exclusive swingers get-together where engineers and startup workers get their freak on with the help of an app called Auto Date.

Some notable quotes from the series:

“People in Silicon Valley are always looking for ways to change norms that might be better for people.”

“In many ways, we are hacking love. Polyamory is a form of optimization.”

“I’ve used every class of drug you can imagine.”

“When you go to Burning Man, it's kind of what you experience in San Francisco but multiplied by ten or a hundred.”

Now, who wants to ingest some smart drugs and disrupt shit?
