This person would be responsible for selling both digital and experiential advertising and sponsorship programs to a broad base of brands. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in monetizing media through advertising sales and creative services at a top publisher or advertising agency. We're looking for a proactive individual who is creative and can think quick on his or her feet. You must be able to create and imagine custom tailored opportunities for our clients.
You'd also get to work out of our beautiful Hayes Valley office!
Responsibilities
• Research, identify and pursue new accounts and opportunities.
• Generate revenue through sales of event sponsorships, digital media and nontraditional advertising products.
• Work collaboratively with internal team to successfully meet customer objectives.
• Identify opportunities within client industries and tailor sales proposals and product offerings accordingly.
• Hit revenue targets.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Strong cold calling and prospecting skills.
• 3+ years of experience in media sales with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Experience selling event sponsorships a huge plus.
• Proven track record of successfully driving revenue through long-term strategic relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently close sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Results-oriented and accountable, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to thrive within a small team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationships and Rolodex.
• Willing to attend local events and parties.
• Bachelor’s degree.
