Oakland's Tamarindo Antojeria is hosting its second annual mezcal and tequila festival this Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7p.m. The festivities will include music and specialty cocktails with Mexican spirits from Don Julio, Siete Leguas, Mezcalero, Alipus, Don Amado, and Seleccion Arte NOM. There will also be demos and samples from participating vendors' master distillers and other experts.
The chef and owner of Tamarindo, Gloria Dominguez will also be serving regional dishes from Jalisco and Oaxaca, which are two of the states that most commonly produce the spirits this event is named after.
Tickets are $55 plus fees and include food, cocktail tastings, and a tasting from each of the participating brands. You can purchase them here.
