SFGate reported today that BART has budgeted $300,000 dollars to take down Barbara Shawcroft's sculpture "Legs" from the Embarcadero BART station. The public sculpture was originally installed in 1978 and will be taken apart and given back to the artist starting next week. Here's a look at what it was once like in case you've never noticed it or never knew it wasn't always brown.
