Got engaged? Awesome! Getting married? Even more awesome! Slogging through all the cookie cutter businesses to plan your big day? A total pain the ass. It's really too bad that wedding planning is such a hassle, but the good news is there are a lot of great local businesses that help with everything from the dress and suit to the cheese and makeup, as we discovered when we put together the Love/Make Wedding Expo at the gorgeous Terra Gallery (which can be rented out for weddings too) that featured local planners, makers, musicians, and more.
The full list of vendors present that afternoon is too big to recap here, but you can browse the Wedding Guide for a sense of what was on offer (and to help if you continue to plan); you can also see the full list of participants here. Highlights included bubbly from Korbel and wine from Rock Wall Winery, a photo booth from Magnolia Photo Booth Co, a Slo-Mo video booth from Orange Photography, a brow bar by Organic Shimmer, a raffle for roundtrip airfare for two to Honolulu, HI from anywhere in the US on Hawaiian Airlines, and live performances by Panique and the 29th Street Swingtet.
Here's a little video clip by Dan Schwartzbaum from Blacktree Films to give you a sense of what happened.
And check out these photos of the amazing vendors and crowds we were grateful to have with us at the event. You can find even more photos from Love/Make on our Facebook page.

And congrats to this sweet couple, Jessica Mullins and her fiancee Brett Gulash, who won the pair of roundtrip tickets to Honolulu on Hawaiian Airlines. These two have been together for four and a half years after meeting in Rome via mutual friends. They're going to use the tickets to take an engagement-moon.

Lastly, we wanted to share a few of our favorite shots from the Magnolia Photo Co. booth. You can check out the entire amazing album and download your pictures from their site.
