Want to get down for a good cause? The Bay Area's biggest art bash – the SFMOMA's Modern Ball– is taking place on Wednesday, April 30 at Yerba Buena Gardens. The museum's biennial fundraising gala brings together three sensational experiences in one evening – The Gala Dinner, The Supper Club, and the Post-Modern Party.
The Gala Dinner showcases a seated dinner by McCalls and a premier live auction featuring a large-scale artwork by Luc Tuymans.
Happening concurrently with The Gala Dinner, The Supper Club offers entertainment by DJ King Most, flowing drinks, and gourmet culinary stations in a stylish lounge setting.
For the night owls, The Post-Modern Party will feature Holy Ghost! followed by a DJ set by Passion Pit. Guests can expect specialty cocktails by Bergerac mixologists, delectable food, and a silent disco tent presented by San Francisco-based crew Silent Frisco.
Proceeds from The Modern Ball support SFMOMA's California-wide exhibitions and innovative education programs serving more than 60,000 students, teachers, and families each year.
Post-Modern Party tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.
