There's a not-so-fine line between "lost" and "litter," especially on the streets of SF. The spectrum of things one can find on the sidewalk runs from empty Cheetos bags to gorgeous, solid-wood dressers that are almost worth the risk of bed bugs. But usually, curbside finds fall somewhere in between; not exactly trash, but definitely not treasure. (Like VHS tapes. So many VHS tapes.) Here, Kyle Pierce gets into the mind of a deranged, yet good-hearted pedestrian who spends his days earnestly trying to reunite strangers with things they would never want back.
