You probably knew Swedish McDonalds exists, but you might not have known that it's launched a Big Mac Shop complete with Big Mac thermals, wall paper, bed sheets, dog coats, and soon wellies and rain coats. Pro amateur tip: translate the Swedish site and keep in mind that the prices are in kronner and not US dollars. If you want to skip the math, the thermals end up being about $60 before taxes and shipping.
According to Dazed, the shop items were dreamed-up as part of the "I'm lovin' it 24" campaign and they have that ratchet meme-y look that is (I think) dying a slow death in countless Forever 21s and on Shop Jeen as we speak. I am bracing myself even as I write this, but I actually dig the wallpaper. I know, I'm a sucker. I'm not sure if this is desperate cool-posing by McD's and the final nail in the coffin of the photos-of-pizza-and-fries-on-everything trend, but it it is nice that all the proceeds from the Big Mac Shop go to the Ronald McDonald House Fund, which helps families out in difficult times. Where are you all at on this one, can we split the shipping?
