Tuesdays may not seem like a the big night to go out, but next week San Francisco Ballet has an entire evening planned for you—from early cocktails to a raging after party and of course... great ballet. On March 10, get ready for a night of sensory overload in the best possible way. SENSORIUM will feature dance, art and music.

No need to make a reservation to dine or grab drinks around the War Memorial Opera House, the night kicks off at 7:30 with the opportunity to purchase drinks and light dinner at one of the bars throughout the venue.

The evening really begins though, with a video installation called "Pull the Dawn From the Night" which was created by your evening's host James Buckhouse. He's a man about town and an overall creative mastermind.

What follows is 90 minutes of exuberant ballet. From the "Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude" by William Forsythe, and Christopher Wheeldon’s ethereal "Borealis©", set to the music of Gavin Bryars; to Liam Scarlett’s soaring "Hummingbird", set to a score by Philip Glass, this is a night for Ballet enthusiasts and really anyone who wants to be wowed.

But what's a good evening without a solid after party? Following the performance, mix and mingle with SF Ballet dancers, go behind the scenes to find out all about tutus, pointe shoes, and makeup & hair at pop-ups located throughout the building and show off your own dance moves to DJ Chris Clouse. There will be food and drinks available for purchase throughout the venue. What's more, copies of the SF Ballet Look Book will be available for purchase and autographed by a dancer.

The best part about the evening is that tickets are only $29. It's basically a perfect evening out on the town with friends or a fun opportunity to impress someone with how cultured you are. Step it up a notch and go for the VIP Box Experience. $77 will get you the best seats in the house and exclusive access to the hosted pre-show mixer with the dancers.

Whether you are a long time fan of the Ballet, or this is your first time, it is going to be one hell of a night. So rest up and get ready. We'll see you there.
