What's the best way to respond to any current cultural phenomenon? T-shirts. Mission-based t-shirt and apparel company Headline Shirts seems to understand that as they have released a new tee this morning with a dark sense of humor.

The shirt's sassy description says, "Just look at that beautiful skyline. Or at least the parts that aren't blocked by that 400,000-square-foot development that seems to have risen from the ground overnight. If you look over here, you can see the historic Old Saint Mary's Cathedral. It's just to the left of those cranes. No, the other cranes. Nope, the other ones. Behind those but to the right of those. There! Wait, sorry, that's just more cranes. Ah well, it's in there somewhere."

Sure, Headline Shirts might be pandering a little, but their shirts are made in SF and this one is for sale for under $20. And although their message is cheeky, they have a point; it can be frustrating for many of us to see the physical reminders of a changing San Francisco everyday and maybe wearing a mildly subversive shirt helps in a small, irrational way.
To be clear, this is not a sponsored post and to prove it, I will say that I can't imagine any person who owns the Hunter S. Tomcat shirt is anything other than a complete tool.
