Sôcôla Chocolatier is celebrating the first anniversary of its SOMA shop today (February 11) with some sweet freebies. The company is actually 14-years-old this year; sisters Susan and Wendy Lieu first started selling their handmade chocolates in front of their parents’ nail salon when they were high school students.
Today, Sôcôla (Vietnamese for “chocolate”) offers truffles in both classic and unusual flavors like Sriracha, durian, and stout beer as well as confections like pate de fruit and caramels. They also have new chocolate bars with wacky inclusions like popcorn. Stop in before 6 p.m. to receive a free truffle and cup of Four Barrel French press coffee, check out this cute space if you haven’t already, and to get your crucial last minute V-Day shopping done if you've procrastinated.
