Study Says Bay Area Commute Is Nation's Most Predictable

Well here's something new to throw into your conversations about the suckiness of Bay Area commuting: CBS SF reports that a recent study puts the Bay Area at the top of the list of most predictable commute times out of all of the largest metro areas in the United States. This means that contrary to popular belief, you may be able to trust Google Map estimates.

Clearly all Bay Area commutes are not created equal, and CBS SF explains that "the morning commute along southbound State Route 242 in northern Contra Costa County and the Interstate 580 interchange in Albany are among commutes that stand out as the most unreliable in the Bay Area."

Wondering how other cities fared? Philadelphia and Houston were the next most reliable areas and the least predictable area was Washington D.C. (thanks, Obama!), followed by LA and New York City, probably because we've got our shit more together than them. Ok, that's enough irrational city pandering for today.
