If you’re like me, you love some good, trashy reality tv. One of my favorites shows is The Bad Girls Club. Part of me used to think I could be on this show: I’m a spicy, loud Latina who isn’t afraid to talk shit and stand up for myself, and I like to think that I’m tough. But alas, I’m not crazy enough and I’m definitely too nice for BGC.
If you think you are crazy enough, you could possibly be a castmate on the show. Well, as long as you’re at least 21, since you gotta be old enough for the drunken shenanigans. (Sorry kids, even Bunim/Murray Productions don't want to add "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" to this reality show drama.) This Wednesday, December 3, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., the casting crew will be at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco interviewing potential Bad Girls. Candidates should bring a photo ID and a recent photograph for what the casting call says will be a chance for the women to learn from their past transgressions and transition into functioning ladies of society. I’m paraphrasing, but that’s the gist of the bullshit they’re boasting. I’ve seen enough seasons of this show to know that once a bad girl, always a bad girl.
If you’re unable to make it down in person, never fear, as there’s an online application. But what fun would that be? Crazy tends to translate better in person. For more information or to apply online, visit the Bunim/Murray Productions website.
