Drones and porn? Naturally. It was only a matter of time and coordination (technology in one hand, genitals in the other) before some pervy, tech savvy dudes would explore voyeurism with a bird’s eye view. The concept is exciting, but slow your wank—“Drone Boning” isn’t worth lubing your hand for, unless you get hard for nature.
Brooklyn film company Ghost+Cow says their intention was pretty simple: beautiful landscapes with people fucking in them. No handcam money shots. Hovering high above iconic Bay Area/Northern California landscapes, the drone swoops over couples cumming amidst colorful wildflowers, scissoring in the sunlight, and tangling limbs under the redwoods.
The views of actual sex are brief and sometimes the heap of skin makes it a bit hard to tell just what parts these people are pleasuring, but the variety of bodies and positions are a fun surprise that keep the kinkyPlanet Earth enticing. NC-17 IMAX theater, please? I always get dizzy during the flight scenes but think I could hold on long enough to cl-IMAX (can’t resist an awful pun like that!).
With all the valid chatter about drones invading people’s privacy, Drone Boning is a consensual, erotic way to play with the concept of a flying Peeping Tom. There’s just enough of a peek to tease the fetish and yet it keeps an artful touch. It’s hard not to spend the entire three-and-a-half minutes anticipating another round of beachy cunnilingus or backdoor banging. Sometimes it’s hard to see the bodies nestled between nature and it becomes a bit of a Where’s Waldo’s wang game. I definitely giggled.
The filmmakers did contemplate the idea of zooming in on the issue of privacy by including a scene in a suburban neighborhood: barbeque going off in one backyard, pan over to a shot of people banging in the yard on the other side of the fence. Sounds like a subpar series may be in the works. Don’t get any DIY ideas, drone owners. All the naked babes in the film were hired actors. No hitting record at home with your moaning neighbors in drone view. Unless they’re down – doesn’t hurt to ask.
The most important question – where exactly are these scenes shot? I think I’ve got time for a road trip this weekend. No clothes, no drones necessary.
